Questions
Which Canadian provinces pay HST?
Ontario pays 13% HST. New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island pay 15% HST.
How do I reverse calculate GST/HST?
To remove 13% Ontario HST, divide total receipt price by 1.13. The pre-tax net amount is the quotient, and the remainder is the tax paid.
