Upscale an image 4× with AI
Make a small photo four times bigger with AI that adds realistic detail. Free, in your browser, no watermark.
In your browser
In Firefox, this tool always runs on your computer’s processor, which is slower: a medium-size photo can take a minute or more. Chrome and Edge can use your graphics card and are much faster.

About this tool
Quadruple the width and height of a small or low-resolution photo. The AI model was trained on real photos, so it rebuilds edges and textures instead of just blurring pixels.
How to use it
- 1 Choose 2× or 4×.
- 2 Pick an image.
- 3 Compare before and after, then download the PNG.
Questions
2× or 4×?
Use 2× for screenshots, graphics and images that are only slightly too small. Use 4× for small or low-quality photos.
Why is my image reduced first?
The AI works in small tiles, so time grows quickly with size. Images over 1024 px (2×) or 512 px (4×) are reduced first to keep it to seconds rather than minutes.
How long does it take?
A few seconds with a graphics card. Without one it can take a minute or more, and the first run also downloads the model (8 to 54 MB).
Is my data uploaded?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your text and files never reach our server.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It’s free to use with no sign-up and no limits for normal use.
