About this tool
Turn a PDF into a Word document you can edit. Editable text mode rebuilds the paragraphs and headings; Keep the look puts each page into Word exactly as it appears. Both run in your browser, so contracts and CVs stay private.
How to use it
- 1 Choose a PDF.
- 2 Pick Editable text or Keep the look.
- 3 Download the .docx file and open it in Word or Google Docs.
Questions
Are tables and images kept?
In Editable text mode, the text is kept but tables and images aren’t. Use Keep the look if the layout matters more than editing.
What about scanned PDFs?
Scans contain pictures of text, not text. Use Keep the look, or run the pages through Image to text (OCR) to get editable words.
Is my data uploaded?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so your text and files never reach our server.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It’s free to use with no sign-up and no limits for normal use.
