Will converting JPG to PNG improve the quality?
No. The detail a JPG already lost can’t come back, but saving as PNG stops it getting any worse from here on.
Which format is best for websites?
WebP is usually smallest for the same quality. Use PNG for images that need transparency and JPG for photos where WebP isn’t supported.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white.
Do you store what I enter?
